Scott Frankel’s diverse background includes degrees in Hypnotherapy and Polygraph Science. He has spent decades as a professional drummer in the music industry. His worldwide tours and experiences provided him with a window to the destructive diseases of alcoholism and addiction. He spent years seeing friends and loved ones struggle with drug and alcohol abuse, destroying their lives and the lives of those they loved. After losing several of those friends, he became compelled to help people find a way out.
Scott has committed himself to helping others find alternative methods to not only cope with life, but enjoy it once again. He plans on helping as many people as possible- and hopes to achieve this by expanding his treatment facilities nationally and internationally within the next few years.
VP Of Business Development
Throughout high school much time was spent training horses and the operation of his first business. An interest and career in the construction industry involved managing large commercial construction projects such as schools, hospitals, retail and residential structures, self-employment began growing at the age of twenty-seven. Having a special interest in business start-ups has led to being a part of over 15 start-ups, from initial concepts to corporate filings, site developments, finance and more.
At Treatment Partners of America, Brandon’s experience is used in the areas of management, marketing and branding, financial projection, site development and much more. Along with oversight and development of the branded radio show, SoberSmash, that brings awareness to the industry and exposure to Treatment Partners of America with the knowledge and expertise of its leaders through talk radio with industry professionals as well as celebrities which have overcome addiction.
Darren Cefalu been assisting clients as a professional counselor for more than 18 years. Helping over a thousand individuals move through the darkness of addiction and mental health issues, his unique and innovative approach, concentrating on personal change, aids in developing the internal light and skills needed for growth.
Lee Mayer was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. After his school and sports involvement, Lee developed a screen enclosure company that he owned and managed for 5 years. Under his ownership of the Mayer Screen Enclosure Company, Lee managed many new construction projects for homes and condominiums throughout South Florida.
In 2011, Lee entered the social services sector by accepting employment with the Salvation Army facility in Fort Lauderdale where Lee served the agency in numerous areas, such as leading the Celebrate Recovery groups, managing donations, and staffing the retail nonprofit store.In 2014 Lee served as Housing director of a substance abuse facility in Palm Beach County. Lee managed residents receiving treatment for substance abuse, creating schedules, and managing mental health technicians in the day to day operations of the facility.
Chabli Hodge, a Florida native, has found her passion in helping individuals and families struggling with addiction. As a case manager, Chabli combines empathy, organization, and planning to support her clients.
Chabli employs a collaborative approach to build therapeutic relationships and help each client transition successfully. Chabli has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work.
Cynthia Lee has been in the Social Services Industry for over fifteen years. She has worked with various child and adolescent programs in a direct care and administrative capacity throughout the states of Georgia and Florida.
Cynthia’s wide range of experience includes programming, quality assurance, recruiting, strategic planning, licensing, and case management and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Cynthia’s professional resume includes training in the areas of Compliance, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Sexual Harassment, and IMPACT.
Dr. Jacqueline Pevny, M.D.
Dr. Pevny is from New York and graduated from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine with honors. She did her psychiatric residency and fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She was then on the faculty at Mount Sinai till moving to Florida in 2003. She has extensive experience in all aspects of adult psychiatry, specifically in addiction psychiatry. She practices with compassion, vast knowledge and empathy, and treats every patient with dignity and respect.

Bob Benevides was born in Massachusetts where he got his LPN training. He came to Florida 30 years ago and has worked in different roles both clinical and nonclinical. He started working in a Methadone clinic a few years ago and found addiction medicine to be a rewarding career.
Bob came to Treatment Partners of America early 2017. He is responsible for running the medical department. He screens clients who want to see the doctor, oversees the medications that are ordered for our clients, conducts a medical based psycho-educational group, and works with clients and their families. Bob enjoys helping clients and seeing their transformation from treatment to discharge.
Bart Plaskoff began his career in the Field of Education and later transformed his career to Behavioral Health in 2012, specializing in addiction, trauma and self-injurious behaviors. A graduate of University of Southern California (USC), a top ten school in the country, Plaskoff is dedicated to assisting his Clients process the “root” of their addiction, allowing them a sober and healthy lifestyle free from the grips of their depression and anxiety.

Dr. Django Rogers, Psy.D.
Dr. Rogers is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of substance use disorders and other co-occurring mental health problems. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and has served as Primary Therapist at several inpatient, partial-hospitalization, and outpatient addiction treatment programs. He has also worked as a Music Therapist for adolescents with addictions in Ft. Lauderdale, a Wilderness Therapist for at-risk youth in Nevada, and a counselor for the severely mentally-ill in Florida and Oregon. He is an avid surfer and guitarist, and he enjoys integrating the healing power of music into his work with clients at Treatment Partners of America
